Current state of the rockpile/beach construction at 73rd St. in Rockaway Beach. Happy Valentine's Day . . . I guess. It’s a pretty stupid holiday. Although it does feel as though a person who writes a weekly publication has to begin with that greeting. I, however, feel strongly that celebrating this holiday is without merit, even as a cultural convention. I don’t think I have ever celebrated it with any partner in my life.
